While not required, we strongly recommend securing a travel insurance policy—especially one with an option to "Cancel for Any Reason". Protect Your Travel Investment

  • Traveler must make a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit payment of $500 at the time of registration to secure your spot.
  • A Monthly minimum payment of $500 is required every month until your balance is paid in full to keep your reservations current.
  • Final payment must be made 90 days before the trip start date.
  • Trip balance must be PAID IN FULL by June 13, 2025.
  • A $250 penalty will be charged for any outstanding balance after the final payment date found in your invoice.

Bright Path Travel will assist you in booking your flights and organizing your travel arrangements. You’ll have all the guidance and support you need to get to your destination with ease.

What’s included in the cost of the trip?
This trip includes accommodations, group excursions, private transportation, and much more. For a full breakdown, please see the “Your Trip Includes” section on this website.

What’s not included in the cost of the trip?
Flights, travel insurance, and any optional activities or meals/alcohol outside the group itinerary are not included. 

Will there be downtime to relax?
Yes, the itinerary has been thoughtfully planned to include moments for rest and rejuvenation. You’ll have free time to relax at the hotel, explore independently, or recharge for the next adventure.

What kind of group dynamic can I expect?
This is a small-group trip designed to foster connection and camaraderie. You’ll travel with like-minded people who are excited to explore the world. By the end of the trip, you’ll have made lifelong friends and unforgettable memories.

What kind of weather should I expect in Portugal in September?
September in Portugal is warm, sunny, and pleasant, making it an ideal time to visit. In Porto, temperatures range from 60-75°F (16-24°C), with comfortable days and cooler evenings. Lisbon is slightly warmer, with temperatures between 65-80°F (18-27°C). Expect mostly dry weather with lots of sunshine, though an occasional light rain shower is possible. Pack light layers, comfortable walking shoes, and sun protection for the best experience!

No worries! Traveling internationally is much easier than you think. Bright Path Travel will guide you through every step of the process, from obtaining your passport to booking your flights. You’ll have support at every stage of your journey.

I don’t know about traveling with people I don’t know.
We get it! Traveling with new people can feel uncertain, but many of our travelers come solo and leave with new friendships. Our trips are designed to be welcoming, flexible, and stress-free, so you’ll have time to connect or enjoy solo moments. Join a virtual meetup to get to know us before you go!

Do I have to participate in all of the activities?
To truly enjoy the full experience, we recommend sticking with the group’s itinerary. Every activity has been carefully chosen to give you an immersive and enriching experience. If you decide to opt out of an activity, please note that refunds or credits are not available for missed group activities. 

Will I need a passport?
Yes! A valid passport is required. Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your return date. If you need to renew or apply for one, we recommend doing so as soon as possible.

How active is this trip?
This trip involves moderate walking, including exploring cultural sites and city tours for many hours. Comfortable shoes are a must! If you have concerns about the activity level, please reach out to discuss whether this trip is a good fit for you.

Is travel insurance required?

Will I need to learn the local language?
