This trip includes accommodations, group excursions, private transportation, and much more. For a full breakdown, please see the “Itinerary Overview” section on this website.

What’s not included in the cost of the trip?

Is travel insurance required?
While not required, travel insurance is highly recommended to protect your investment in case of unforeseen circumstances. Bright Path Travel can assist you in purchasing the right coverage for your trip.

Will there be downtime to relax?
This Egypt and Jordan journey is richly packed with iconic sites and cultural experiences, so it’s more active than some of our usual trips. It’s designed for travelers ready to embrace a full, immersive experience—though you’ll always have the option to pace yourself as needed.

What kind of group dynamic can I expect?
This is a small-group trip designed to foster connection and camaraderie. You’ll travel with like-minded people who are excited to explore the world. By the end of the trip, you’ll have made lifelong friends and unforgettable memories.

What kind of weather should I expect in Egypt & Jordan in October?
October offers warm, comfortable days—typically between 75°F and 90°F (24°C to 32°C)—and cooler mornings and evenings, making it an ideal time to explore. Lightweight, breathable clothing is best for daytime, with layers like a light jacket or sweater recommended for early mornings and nights. Comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, and a hat are also essentials.

What’s the best way to prepare for this trip?
We’ll guide you every step of the way! Before departure, we’ll send packing tips, travel details, and itinerary highlights to help you prepare. Can I come if I’m not 100% plant-based?
Yes! This trip is designed for plant-based travelers, but anyone open and respectful of that lifestyle is welcome.

Will I encounter non-plant-based food during the trip?
Because food culture varies around the world, you may see non-plant-based dishes being served at nearby tables or displayed in local markets. What matters most is that every meal we provide for our group is fully plant-based, carefully arranged so you can relax and enjoy without worry. We partner with restaurants and chefs who understand our needs, and in destinations where plant-based options are less common, we take extra care to ensure your dining experience still feels abundant, authentic, and joyful.

I’ve never been out of the country and feel unsure about what to do.
No worries! Traveling internationally is much easier than you think. Bright Path Travel will guide you through every step of the process, from obtaining your passport to booking your flights. You’ll have support at every stage of your journey.

I don’t know about traveling with people I don’t know.
We get it! Traveling with new people can feel uncertain, but many of our travelers come solo and leave with new friendships. Our trips are designed to be welcoming, flexible, and stress-free, so you’ll have time to connect or enjoy solo moments. Join our Facebook Group, The Plant-Based Passport, to get to know us before you go!

Do I have to participate in all of the activities?
To truly enjoy the full experience, we recommend sticking with the group’s itinerary. Every activity has been carefully chosen to give you an immersive and enriching experience. If you decide to opt out of an activity, please note that refunds or credits are not available for missed group activities.

Will I need a passport?
Yes! A valid passport is required. Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your return date. If you need to renew or apply for one, we recommend doing so as soon as possible.

How active is this trip?
This trip involves heavy walking and active days, including exploring cultural sites and city tours for many hours. Comfortable shoes are a must! If you have concerns about the activity level, please reach out to discuss whether this trip is a good fit for you.

Will I need to learn the local language?
Not at all! While knowing a few phrases can enhance your experience, your guides will help bridge any language gaps. Plus, many locals in tourist areas speak English.
