What kind of weather should I expect in August in Brazil?
August in Brazil is late winter, which means mild and pleasant conditions. In Rio de Janeiro and Paraty, you can expect daytime temperatures between the low 70s and 80s °F (22–27 °C), cooler evenings, and plenty of sunshine with lower humidity. In Salvador, it will feel warmer and more tropical, with average highs in the low to mid 80s °F (27–29 °C), occasional showers, and breezy evenings by the bay. Can I come if I’m not 100% plant-based?
Yes! This trip is designed for all plant-based, plant-curious, and health-conscious people.

Will I encounter non-plant-based food during the trip?
Because food culture varies around the world, you may see non-plant-based dishes being served at nearby tables or displayed in local markets. What matters most is that every meal we provide for our group is fully plant-based, carefully arranged so you can relax and enjoy without worry. We partner with restaurants and chefs who understand our needs, and in destinations where plant-based options are less common, we take extra care to ensure your dining experience still feels abundant, authentic, and joyful.

I’ve never been out of the country and feel unsure about what to do.
No worries! Traveling internationally is much easier than you think. Bright Path Travel will guide you through every step of the process, from obtaining your passport to booking your flights. You’ll have support at every stage of your journey.

I don’t know about traveling with people I don’t know.
We get it! Traveling with new people can feel uncertain, but many of our travelers come solo and leave with new friendships. Our trips are designed to be welcoming, flexible, and stress-free, so you’ll have time to connect or enjoy solo moments. Join our Facebook Group, The Plant-Based Passport, to get to know us before you go!

Do I have to participate in all of the activities?
To truly enjoy the full experience, we recommend sticking with the group’s itinerary. Every activity has been carefully chosen to give you an immersive and enriching experience. If you decide to opt out of an activity, please note that refunds or credits are not available for missed group activities.

Will I need to learn the local language?
Not at all! While knowing a few phrases can enhance your experience, your guides will help bridge any language gaps. Plus, many locals in tourist areas speak English.
